Is Mul-T-Lock worth specifying?
It depends on the door and what it is protecting, and we would rather give you a straight answer than a sales one. High-security hardware earns its cost on doors protecting inventory, cash, data or controlled substances, and wherever key control is the real requirement. On a door beside a single-glazed window it is money spent on the strongest link in a weak chain, and we will say so.
Can Mul-T-Lock locks be rekeyed?
In nearly all cases, yes — rekeying re-pins the cylinder you already own and is far cheaper than replacement. On restricted keyways, rekeying and key cutting go through the authorised dealer holding your system, which is the mechanism that makes the key control real.
